We are proud to have one the strongest environmental sustainability profiles among apparel manufacturers in the world.
While every manufacturing process impacts the environment, our goal is to reduce our overall impact by means of education, collaboration, and implementation of new and innovative materials and processes. We use eco-friendly fibers, less water, less energy and local manufacturing for an overall smaller footprint.
As the citizens of this planet, we believe it is our moral responsibility to protect and preserve our natural resources for this generation and many more to come.
ZERO WASTE MANUFACTURING
100% of the fabric scraps generated during the cutting process is recycled. This adds up to hundreds of thousands of pounds of material per year that doesn’t end up in the landfill.
Additionally, we recycle all production byproducts such as boxes, yarn cones, poly bags, packaging material, pallets, paper, bottles, and cans.
Circular Manufacturing Process
We have developed a recycling program by which we take back every garment we sell and recycle them at little or no extra charge to our customers. The garments are sorted and combined with our fabric scraps and then they are upcycled into new Fibers, Fabrics & Apparel.
More details will be available soon…
ORGANIC COTTON, grown with no synthetic pesticides or insecticides, no GMO, non-toxic
RECYCLED COTTON, made from “table waste” clippings during the cutting process. Sorted by color, no dyeing needed. Helps divert millions of tons of textile waste entering our landfills each year.
RECYCLED POLYESTER, made from post-consumer products such as water bottles, uses less energy, less virgin raw material. Diverts bottles and similar materials from landfills.
TENCEL & MODAL, man-made celluloses fibers with closed loop circuit recycling the solvent, less chemicals
DYEING & FINISHING
- 65% less water
- 50% less electricity
- 30% less natural gas
- 50% lower emissions
40% less chemicals
These savings are compared to a typical dye house in the United States. They are even greater when compared to dye houses operating in Asia or Far East.
Water-based inks which are non-toxic and other pigments that are PVC and Phthalate free
